In this unit, the patients, the family members of the patients and others who wish, undergo education on cancers and the treatments of cancers.

These people are educated on this subject, with the use of audio visuals, booklets, leaflets, posters and lectures. During these sessions, those present could discuss their problems and discuss them with the staff.

Educational in-service programs are also conducted for the staff of the national cancer Institute and for the trainees of the nurses’ training school, as a prior necessity.
 
School children too are able to obtain this information from the projects conducted in their schools.
